In Leeds, the mission team visited the Iranian church established in 2024. What began with just two members has now grown to a congregation of 25. Over a nine-day period, a three-day seminar titled “Knowing God and Seeing Christ in the Old Testament” was held, drawing more than 50 participants.
In addition to the seminar, a Q&A session was organized to address biblical questions, and during Sunday’s worship service and communion, two individuals were baptized—both having dedicated their lives to Christ over the past year.
The outcomes of the seminar were deeply encouraging. The congregation was strengthened in faith, unity with the local English-speaking church increased, and several English pastors and leaders expressed renewed encouragement in their own ministries.
A particularly meaningful moment came when an elderly woman, previously hesitant due to family and community pressures, publicly professed her faith in Christ after many years of hearing the Gospel.
Private counseling sessions were also provided for families and married couples experiencing personal or relational challenges, offering guidance and support through a biblical perspective.
Because of the spiritual growth and encouragement witnessed during this visit, members of the Leeds congregation have requested future visits every six months, if resources allow.
